About

I have a background in sponge ecology and microbiology. My previous research focused on the effects of disease and environmental stressors on sponges and their microbial symbionts.

Education

2012 PhD, James Cook University, Australia

2006 Master of Applied Science, James Cook University, Australia

2002 BSc, Colorado State University, USA

Research

My current research focuses on the effects of sediments and other priority contaminants on the different life stages of tropical/subtropical marine organisms, including sponges and corals.
