AIMS planning documents
The Institute produces two
public documents which outline its strategic directions and
present research programs. The Strategic Directions
publication is a summary of the Institutes broad purpose,
major
clients and priority areas for research and development. The
AIMS Research Plan is a summary of the triennium research
plans prepared by the scientific project
teams and support service sections. Usually, it will be
updated at least once during any triennium. These documents
are also available to the public through the Institutes
Science Communication Section.
In addition, the Institute uses
detailed project proposals which, once approved, become the
annual Operating Plan for the Institute. These project
proposals are available on a more restricted basis as
electronic documents within the Institutes Intranet.
