The
male map

Note:
Red highlights refer to
microsatellite markers, blue to EPIC markers, green to SSCP markers
and pink to SNP markers.
The
female map

The haploid chromosome
number of P. monodon is 44 and hence additional linkage
groups need to be identified to obtain complete genome coverage.
In addition, it is likely that some of the existing linkage groups
will coalesce as more markers are added.
However, progress is now
likely to be rapid as there are already sufficient markers that
new markers are incorporated into the map at a rapid rate.
