The appendages are more defined as the naupliar body develops into a more distinguishable form. Depending on orientation, it may be possible to distinguish the formation of setae on the tips of the developing appendages.

Major developmental changes are distinguishable. The naupliar body has thickened and further development, including setae, may be observed.
