The following choice of half day tours in the Townsville area will be offered to participants on Wednesday 19th July.

Tour 1 - Billabong Sanctuary

This trip will include a guided tour in the Sanctuary to observe and learn about the exotic animals of Australia and their habitats. The cost is included in registration.

Tour 2 - Australian Institute of Marine Science

This excursion will include a guided tour around the Australian Institute of Marine Science facilities which are 50km south of Townvsville. The cost is included in registration.

Tour 3 - Post Conference Tour – Saturday 22nd July

Day-trip to Kelso Reef on high-speed catamaran with Pure Pleasure Cruises. This day trip will allow participants to swim, snorkel and observe Kelso Reef, which is an excellent example of an outer reef. Scuba diving is available for a charge provided proof of a diving qualification is presented. A seafood buffet is provided. This trip will incur an additional cost of $125.00 and payment is required at the close of registration.
