Mariner's Journal

The mariner's journal is a not too serious daily log of selective scientific cruises presented via these pages. The purpose is to provide daily reports which include information about the location of the research vessel and the type of experiments or collections that are being undertaken. The journals are written in a light-hearted manner from the authors perspective and intended to show the human face of marine research shown through the normal daily activities (blood, sweat and tears) that researchers in the field commonly encounter.

The Mariner's Journal has been archived
(access is now limited)

If any of the journals were part of any school course work and information is still required then please contact the AIMS webmaster.
