Joint products

AIMS occasionally produces works in partnership with other organisations or individuals. In these instances, the works will be clearly labelled with all partners to the joint venture. Where use of the material is allowed by licensing, attributions must be as follows:

Research papers with attributed authorship

AIMS also publishes works to release scientific data and/or related information not necessarily representing an official AIMS position, even though AIMS is prepared to publish the work as a publisher where it is deemed appropriate. These will be released as research papers and are generally of a technical or exploratory nature. They may include conference papers, papers published in journals by AIMS employees and/or visitors (occasionally in partnership with external authors), or papers prepared by AIMS research fellows.

These papers can be identified by the disclaimer, usually on the reverse title page, which generally reads thus:

Views expressed in this paper are those of the author(s), and do not necessarily represent those of the Australian Institute of Marine Science.

Where use of the material is allowed by licensing, material must be clearly attributed to the author(s).
