You be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the analytical laboratory ensuring compliance to health, safety and environment protocols with a focus on maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. You will generate high quality data measurements and analysis and provide technical advice for users of the facility. Location: Townsville. Closing: 13 September 2015.

590 - Leader Integrated Monitoring and Analysis - Closing 18 September 2015

AIMS is a world leader in long-term monitoring of coral reef ecosystems and in tropical environmental observing systems. With an initial focus on the Great Barrier Reef, this position will lead a team to develop and implement integrated monitoring, reporting and analysis projects at AIMS. Location: Townsville. 592 - Technology Development Engineer - Closing 18 September 2015

This position will oversee and lead targeted technology development in the field of autonomous and semi-autonomous marine observing platforms and integration of new technologies into our field operations and post field-trip data analyses. Location: Townsville. Closing: 18 September 2015

593 - Data Visualisations Analyst Programmer - Closing 18 September 2015

You will have overall responsibility for the development and management of the AIMS Data Management Platform (ADMP) including eAtlas. The ADMP forms part of a knowledge management system that aims to foster both access to, and reuse of, science across multiple institutions and industry and assist with evidence based biodiversity assessment and monitoring. 596 - Operations Planner - closing 20 September 2015

Your role will be to develop, maintain and coordinate operational schedules for the Institute’s key scientific infrastructure, including the National Sea Simulator, research vessels and field deployment equipment. Location: Townsville. Closing: 20 September 2015
