The Institute operates from facilities in Townsville Queensland, Darwin Northern Territory and Perth Western Australia.
About this Opportunity
As a qualified and experienced accountant, you will lead our in-house finance team and provide our staff with accurate, relevant and timely financial advice to support our business functions. You will be well recognised for your accounting business partnering and leadership skills. Additionally, in this role you will project lead the next phase of our ERP system integration initiative, working with our staff to implement the new system across all teams and sites.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a world leading organisation with attractive working conditions, including a 9-day fortnight, generous leave entitlements, transportation to site, a salary range of $99,609 - $129,662 and 15.4% superannuation. This role is being offered for a minimum 5 year term and will be based in Townsville, Queensland.
You will have advanced analysis and communication skills to interpret and advise on the financial components of our business as well as demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce or business with commensurate experience;
- Experience leading a small team; and
- Experience with integrated ERP systems.
A sound knowledge of Commonwealth Government statutory reporting requirements will be highly advantageous.
